Chiropractic involvement in the Olympics commenced in the 1960’s.  Since the 1980’s it has been becoming a more and more intergral part of the medical and rehabilitaion services.
Chiropractors from all over the world will be in Sochi preparing their countries athletes for competition in the 2014 Winter Olympics as they prepare for the biggest event of their lives.
Sochi will be the warmest city to have hosted a Winter Olympics with an average February temperature of 42.8 °F (8.3°C) and amazingly a humid subtropical climate.
It will be by far the most expensive games, an estimated $50 billion in fundings, ($40 billion has been the highest thus far).
The Olympic torch will travel approx. 40,300 miles on its way to Sochi, this is the longest olympic journey ever,  it will travel by car, plane, train, Russian troika and a sleigh pulled by reindeer.
